Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Combine (JSC AECC, Angarsk, Irkutsk Region)
The company, which is a producer of uranium hexafluoride used for fabrication of nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants, rapidly develops promising areas of production of new types of products. JSC AECC has lowest prime cost of the product (separative work unit) among similar enterprises of the nuclear industry. At the combine, the International Uranium Enrichment Center, which is under the auspices of the IAEA, has been established.
Production Association “Electrochemical Plant”(JSC ECP, CATF Zelenogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory)
The company produces low enriched uranium, stable and radioactive isotopes of various chemical elements. It stores and processes depleted uranium hexafluoride (DUH), while producing hydrofluoric acid and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, as well as a number of other high technology products.
Siberian Chemical Combine (JSC SCC, CATF Seversk, Tomsk Region)
JSC SCC’s core of production is four plants for handling nuclear materials: isotope separation plant, conversion plant, radiochemical plant and chemical and metallurgical plant.
The JSC SCC site hosts a ROSATOM’s strategic project “Proryv” aimed at developing a new technological platform of the nuclear industry featuring closed nuclear fuel cycle and solving the problems of spent nuclear fuel and RAW. The project implementation will become one more confirmation of leadership of Russian technologies in the world nuclear power.
Urals Electrochemical Combine(JSC UECC, CATF Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk Region)
It is the world’s largest uranium enrichment company. Uranium is supplied to meet the needs in nuclear fuel of nuclear power plants and other nuclear power installations. JSC UECC process buildings host 48% of enrichment capacities of Russia. The Uranium Enrichment Center – joint venture with NAC Kazatomprom – has been set up at the combine.
