THE CORE BUSINESS OF FUEL COMPANY OF ROSATOM TVEL
is the fabrication of various types of nuclear fuel for power reactors of NPPs, research reactors, as well as ship reactors.
Fuel Company TVEL has competences in the following areas:
Produces more than one third of enriched uranium product consumed in the world (deliveries of uranium products produced by Fuel Company TVEL to foreign countries are carried out by TENEX);
Produces and supplies fuel and its components for all reactors of the Russian design, light-water reactors of the Western design (PWR and BWR), as well as fuel components for western heavy water reactors (PHWR);
Fabricates nuclear fuel of recovered uranium (in cooperation with Framatome);
Promotes in-house design of FA for PWR reactors, i.e. TVS-KVADRAT.
