LIFE AND HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES ARE THE KEY PRIORITIES IN FUEL COMPANY TVEL
That is why, development of safety culture is the basis for the unconditional implementation of the rules of occupational safety and labour protection by all employees of the company.

Implementation of “Policy of JSC TVE L in the area of occupational health and safety” over the last 10 years resulted in unavailability of cases with exceeding the limits of annual effective irradiation doses of the staff members, including ones with receipt for any consecutive 5 years of effective irradiation dose of 100 mSv or more.

The activities in the area of safety culture improvement are implemented in the areas as follows: personnel qualification management, technology improvement, activities in the field of motivation and engagement, learning and implementation of the best practices.

The Company has elaborated a set of corporate guidelines in the area of labour protection and occupational safety in the form of instructions, lists, logs. The training and knowledge examinations, briefs including ones addressed to representatives of contractors, systematic on-site occupational safety inspections are arranged at the enterprises on the regular basis.
JSC TVEL annually holds meetings of technical directors and heads of nuclear and radiation safety divisions, divisions of occupational safety and environmental protection, where analysed all cases of injuries and recommended the "best practices."
The tripartite committees on labour protection and occupational safety composed of representatives of leadership, employees and trade unions are in place at the enterprises of Fuel company TVEL. All collective agreements applicable at Fuel company TVEL contain the sections that govern the issues occupational safety and labour protection.

Key areas and obligations of Fuel company TVEL in the area of occupational safety are stipulated in “Policy of JSC TVE L in the area of occupational health and safety”.
